Looking at Faith?
The LINK is a small but growing community of ordinary people who have a sense that the Christian faith has something vital to say to them. Some have been on the journey several years, others are only just thinking about starting out. People come with questions and doubts as well as amazing personal stories of how God has shown himself to be real in their lives.
More and more people have found that the exploration process works best in a small group of 8 or so people meeting midweek in someone's home. It means people can go on a journey together and make lasting friendships on the way. That's something The LINK wants to facilitate for those who'd like it.
Linking up with your Kind of People?
The LINK is a fresh expression of church (but one that retains its reassuring Church of England affiliation - we work in close partnership with St Paul's Tervuren and share resources together). It tries as best it can to be relaxed and informal, friendly and welcoming from the word go, relevant, accessible and personal. Because we meet just on the edge of Brussels (we borrow a modern Catholic church for our get-togethers) , we get a real cross-section of people through the doors on a Sunday afternoon - from singles, stagiaires, foreign students and short-termers to young families, teenagers, toddlers and permanent residents. We're not the finished article by any means, but you might find that's what you like about us.
A Brave Step?
We see new faces most weeks, so we understand as well as anyone that setting foot in a new place with new people isn't an easy thing for most people to do. All I can say is - it's a step worth taking and we try to make it as easy as possible. To make a journey of genuine spiritual discovery each person needs courage and they need fellow-travellers around to encourage and guide them. The LINK could be the place where you find you can really belong and make your own unique contribution.
