This Sunday at The Link - 11 October 2009

STOPPRESS    DWARF NIGHT CANCELLED - The Link Committee meeting scheduled for 12 October has been CANCELLED!

Sunday  11 October

We meet at St Dom's for coffee at 5 pm, with worship from 5.30, when we will be looking at the topic of 'Mission'.  The service will be led by MIG (Mission Interest Group - not a Soviet fighter plane) and Martin Webber will be speaking.

 

Saturday  October 24

Musician Nathan Tasker will be playing his Desert Island Discs selection for us in CC2 at 8pm, probably till 9.30-10pm. It's a wine and nibblies night with Nathan doing an extended interview and performances. No charge will be made (but donations are welcome) so turn out in your droves!  Info from Chris: chris.edwards@stpaulstervuren.be  

• Please note if you have kids we need your help to complete the directory with their correct ages.

• New Venue for Youth: Martyn and Cheri are happy to open their new home at 28 avenue des Chataignes, 1950 Kraainem (just off Avenue Baron d'Huart between St Dom's and the Ring), to youth groups age 9-umpteen.

• Children aged 5-8 meet in the flat in Av. des Bruyères.

Second Birthday Video

Last week Chris videoed our 2nd Birthday celebration and edited it down to a manageable 10 minutes. Have a look at his handiwork here.

They're not children they're Angels!

Everyone is proud of their children (we hope!) and we are particularly proud of the kids who meet together at the Link each Sunday. Today they performed a song and we are pleased to present it here. A couple of points to note: 1. We turned the microphone on late so you miss a bit of singing! 2. The loudest child is mine!

Anyway we all, enjoyed ourselves. Special thanks to our heroic children's workers who do such a wonderful job. The kids all enjoy each others company and everything they learn in the Sunday school.

So please enjoy "Our God is a great big god!".

Singer-songwriter visits the Link

This weekend, renowned Christian singer-songwriter, Sue Rinaldi, will be visiting The Link and our mother church, St. Paul's, in Tervuren. She will be spending the weekend with our worship teams, encouraging us and enabling us to better lead worship and release our creative gifts!
